TYPE was set up in 2003 to give new talent their first chance to perform on the London Fringe. Originally “talent” referred to actors, but recently it has expanded to include writers, directors and designers.

Acting & Filming
Although writing is Hugh’s main priority, followed by directing, Hugh acts on occasion as he believes it gives him more empathy when directing actors, or writing for them. For a list of his roles to date, please click here
Hugh is also building up his experience in film-making, having worked as a First AD (The Highway Code, The Human Factory and Dawn of The Zombies) and as a production assistant (80s Movie and The Cult).
